Abarth

Abarth is Fiat's scorpion-badged performance arm, founded by Carlo Abarth in 1949 and famous for turning tiny Fiats into giant-killers. The modern range built its reputation on the 595 and 695 — pocket hot hatches with exhaust notes twice their size — and has followed the Fiat 500 into the electric era with the 500e Abarth. Abarths trade outright pace for character: firm rides, eager steering and theatrical soundtracks (real or synthesised). In the UK they occupy a niche the market has largely abandoned — genuinely small performance cars — which keeps used values warm and owners loyal.
