Alpine

Alpine is Renault's sports-car soul: a Dieppe-based marque founded in 1955, revived in 2017 with the A110 — a featherweight mid-engined coupe that out-delighted a Porsche Cayman by weighing hundreds of kilograms less. The brand now anchors Renault Group's performance ambitions, fronting its Formula 1 team and expanding into electric hot hatches (A290) and performance EVs. Alpine's identity is agility over brute force: modest power, minimal mass, maximum involvement. It remains a niche choice in the UK, but among enthusiasts its stock has rarely been higher.
