Use this page to submit a data access, correction, deletion, or opt-out request for your personal information held by True Motion Auto. We verify your identity before fulfilling requests, and respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you — typically 30-45 days. For an advertising-specific opt-out only, you can also use the shorter Do Not Sell or Share Page.

How to submit a request
- Select the request type: access, correction, deletion, or opt-out
- Provide the email address associated with your newsletter or comment account, if any
- Complete identity verification (we'll confirm via the email on file; some requests may require additional verification to prevent fraud)
- Submit and note your confirmation reference for follow-up
How we verify identity
Because fulfilling the wrong person's request could expose someone else's data, we verify that the request comes from the account holder — typically by confirming access to the email address on file. Requests we can't verify are denied for that reason, and we'll tell you why.
Response timeframes
We respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you — commonly 45 days for US state privacy laws (with a possible 45-day extension for complex requests) and one month for EU/UK GDPR requests (extendable by two further months for complex cases). We'll confirm receipt promptly and let you know if an extension is needed.
What happens after a deletion request
We delete personal information from active systems, subject to limited exceptions (e.g., information we're legally required to retain, such as records needed to complete a transaction you initiated or comply with a legal obligation). We'll tell you if any exception applies to your specific request.
If you'd like someone else to submit a request on your behalf, they'll need to provide proof of your authorization (and we may still need to verify your identity directly), consistent with US state privacy law requirements for authorized-agent requests.
Appealing a decision
If we deny or partially fulfill your request, you can appeal by replying to our response with “Appeal” and your original confirmation reference; we'll conduct a second review, and where required by law, tell you how to escalate further (e.g., to a state attorney general or data protection authority).
