Vasudha Gupta is the editor of True Motion Auto. She oversees the site's research-review methodology and editorial standards, and she is the named person accountable for what this site publishes — what gets commissioned, how it is sourced, and how mistakes are corrected.
The role
Every article on True Motion Auto is published under an editor who can be named, contacted and held responsible. That is the point of this page. If something we publish is wrong, there is a person to take it up with rather than an anonymous inbox.
As editor, Vasudha is responsible for:
- Commissioning — deciding what we cover, and declining topics we cannot cover well.
- Editing — structure, accuracy, clarity and tone before anything goes live.
- Sourcing standards — requiring that claims about law, tax, finance and safety trace back to a primary source such as GOV.UK, the DVSA, the FCA or a manufacturer's own technical data.
- Corrections — assessing reports of errors and making sure fixes are applied and dated.
- Labelling — making sure research-based analysis is never presented as first-hand testing.
What we do and do not claim
We think it is more useful to be precise about the limits of our expertise than to imply we have all of it.
- True Motion Auto is a research-led publisher. We do not operate a press fleet and we do not carry out our own instrumented testing. Where a page discusses how a car drives, that analysis is drawn from published sources and attributed. See our review methodology.

- Where a topic carries real consequences — premium finance, credit agreements, roadworthiness, safety-critical maintenance — we cite the regulator or the legislation directly so you can check it yourself.
Reporting an error
If you find a mistake — a figure that does not add up, a rule that has changed, a claim that is out of date — we want to know. Email info@truemotionauto.com with the page address and what you believe is wrong. Corrections to substantive errors are made on the page and dated.
