Why set preferences
By default, new subscribers get a general mix covering all six content pillars. If you only care about EVs and maintenance, or only want US-specific coverage, narrowing your preferences here means less scrolling past guides that aren't relevant to you — without changing how often we email.
Region focus
Pick US, UK, India or Global. This affects which regional guides and alerts (like incentive or regulation changes) get surfaced first in your weekly digest; it doesn't hide universal content like maintenance basics or comparison guides.
Topic areas
Choose up to four of: Buying & Consumer Guides, Maintenance & DIY, Comparisons & Rankings, EV & Green Tech, Accessories & Gadgets, News & Trends. We cap it at four so the digest stays a focused 3-minute read rather than trying to cover everything.
What you can't customize
- Send frequency is fixed at weekly — we don't offer daily or monthly cadences.
- Critical account emails (password resets, confirmation emails) aren't affected by these preferences and can't be turned off while your account is active.
