Polestar

Polestar is the design-purist's EV brand: Scandinavian minimalism, Google-native software and chassis tuning with a performance bent, spun from Volvo's racing arm into a standalone electric marque. The 2 built the base, while the 3 and 4 push into premium SUV territory with genuinely distinctive form (the 4's deleted rear window included). Sustainability reporting and OTA cadence are house strengths. The business has weathered funding turbulence and the brand remains niche — but as a considered alternative to a Model 3 or i4, Polestar's case is coherent and cool-headed.
