What following does
Follow is a lightweight, single-click subscription available on every model and brand page. It's separate from saving a specific vehicle to your wishlist — following tracks the model or brand generally, even before you've picked a specific trim or configuration.
The four triggers
- New reviews. Expert reviews and verified-owner reviews for a followed model.
- Price changes. MSRP or average transaction price moves of 3% or more, sourced from dealer feeds.
- New trim or model year. Announced additions to the lineup.
- Recall notices. Pulled from NHTSA data; delivered instantly regardless of your digest preference, since safety notices aren't appropriate to batch or delay.
Delivery choices
Each trigger type can be set independently to instant, daily digest, or weekly digest — except recall notices, which are always instant given their safety relevance. You can follow as many models or brands as you like; there's no cap.
Managing your follows
All active follows are listed in My Garage's "Followed models & brands" widget, where you can adjust delivery preference per model or unfollow with a single click — no confirmation step, since re-following takes just as little effort if you change your mind.
Recall notices for a followed model are always sent instantly and cannot be downgraded to a digest, even if you've set every other trigger for that model to weekly.
