Saved comparisons of 2 to 4 vehicles are rechecked nightly; you're notified when any vehicle's price or incentive shifts by 2% or more, a spec changes (trim update, feature added/dropped), or a comparison is affected by a new model-year release. An optional weekly refresh email resends the full comparison table even without a qualifying change, useful while you're actively deciding.

How saved comparisons stay current
When you save a side-by-side comparison, True Motion Auto rechecks each vehicle's listed price, active incentives, and published specs every night against dealer and manufacturer feeds. This catches the common scenario where a shopper compares three trims, steps away for a week, and returns to outdated numbers.
What counts as a notification-worthy change
- Price or manufacturer incentive shifts of 2% or more on any vehicle in the comparison.
- A trim-level spec change (e.g., a safety feature becomes standard instead of optional).
- A new model year or trim entering the same comparison category.
- A vehicle in the comparison becoming unavailable or discontinued.
Delivery format
Notifications show the specific field that changed (price, spec, availability) next to the old and new value, rather than requiring you to reopen the comparison to spot the difference. You can also opt into a weekly refresh email that resends the whole table on a fixed schedule, which is useful during active shopping even when no single change crosses the 2% threshold.
Limits
Each account can maintain up to 10 active saved comparisons; the oldest is archived (not deleted) automatically if you save an 11th. Archived comparisons stop generating change notifications until reactivated.
Comparisons involving a discontinued vehicle will keep showing its last known specs and price for reference, clearly labeled "Discontinued," rather than dropping it from the table silently.
