Chevrolet is General Motors' volume heart — a badge stretching from the $20k Trax to the mid-engined Corvette. The Silverado fights the F-150 head-on, the Equinox and Traverse anchor family duty, and Chevy's EV push (Equinox EV, Blazer EV, the returning Bolt) targets the affordable-electric space more aggressively than any Detroit rival. Value is the through-line: strong equipment at mainstream prices, with the Corvette as the halo proving GM engineering can embarrass exotics. Quality has climbed markedly, though resale still trails Toyota and Honda.
