What changed for the 2026 Honda Accord
The 2026 Honda Accord is not a redesign. Kelley Blue Book's December 19, 2025 update and Edmunds' 2026 Accord first look say the main changes are technology and equipment: LX and SE move from a 7-inch touchscreen to a 9-inch unit, while wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and a wireless charging pad become standard across the lineup. Price changes are small. Kelley Blue Book's December 19, 2025 pricing report says most 2026 trims rose by $150 or less compared with 2025, while the base LX increased by $100.

Honda Accord recalls owners should check
Claims Journal reported on June 11, 2026 that Honda is recalling 1,049,883 US vehicles over tire repair kits, including 2023-2026 Accord Hybrid models. Pressure can build inside the sealant bottle and cause the cap to detach and become a projectile. Dealers replace the tire repair kit nozzle or sealant bottle free of charge, and owners were due to be notified on or about July 27, 2026. As of May 28, 2026, Honda had logged 53 warranty claims and eight injury reports, with no deaths.
A separate NHTSA recall applies to certain 2016-2022 Accord models, along with specified CR-V and Pilot model years. The front passenger seat weight sensor can crack and short circuit, which can cause unintended air bag deployment in a crash; dealers replace the sensors free of charge. Owner letters were mailed July 7, 2026.
